COVID 19
This year we have reviewed our entire project to take into account this situation which impacts all our social relationships. The camp is large enough for you to respect all health distances, and all our activities take place outside for the time being.
All equipments are cleaned and disinfected after use.
• you can respect distances, and limit interactions within your own group;
• we provide soap and hydroalcoholic gel to wash your hands regularly.
• please don’t come to stay with us if you are sick or have symptoms, even mild.
We minimize our impact on the beautiful surrounding nature, and offer you a unique and exotic experience outside of modern life.
The tents are lit with candle lamps and heated with wood. You cut your own wood on a supplied reserve or we help you provide. Each tent has a can of 20 liters of water, which you can refill according to your needs at the tap (source water) or at the lake (drinking water). You use dry toilets.
We do not use chemicals, and ask you to do the same, the quality of the lake water depends on it.
Kitchen
We provide plates and cutlery, a pan and a frying pan to cook on fire. There are several fire points on the camp for cooking and barbecues. If you are not sure of yourself, we will teach you how to make a fire without a match or lighter, and help you for the first one. The dishes are done at the tent water barrel with organic soap.
We recommend that you bring food. A reserve on the camp will allow you to complete what you have. It generally includes homemade bread, organic eggs, cereal, pasta, rice, semolina, sauces.
We work with local producers, and most of the products are organic. A convenience store is 15 km from the camp in Friggesund. Legislation does not allow us to sell alcohol, do not hesitate to bring your own beers, bottle of wine or alcohol.
Recycling
Sweden recycles 96% of its waste, and so do we.
Sorting bins are installed in the camp, and if you want to help us and feed our compost bin, you are very welcome.
Recommendations on equipment:
Clothing we advise :
- warm waterproof & windproof clothing for evenings
- high shoes or small boots for walking
- sandals;
- a swimsuit;
- a towel;
- a hat / cap.
Camping equipment:
- a sleeping bag
- a pillow;
- a headlamp;
- a mosquito repellent.
We don’t have a baby bed-tent, be far-sighted.
Dogs are welcome if they are kept close and do not bark so as not to scare wildlife… or your neighbors, but we can’t take them on the guided tours.
Doctor: We have an emergency kit and a First Aid Certificate.
The dispensary and pharmacy are in Delsbo 30 km away, the hospital is in Hudiksvall.
